Dr. Marcia Ann Mims Coppertino, PhD, Accepts Role as Director of Public Relations at The National African American Missions Council



The National African American Missions Council (NAAMC) is proud to announce that Dr. Marcia Ann Mims Coppertino, PhD, has accepted the position of Director of Public Relations. Dr. Coppertino, a trailblazer in both corporate and community sectors, previously served NAAMC as Director of Marketing and Communications. With over four decades of experience in business formation, development branding, and event management for healthcare, nonprofit, and political entities, Dr. Coppertino has been instrumental in advising organizations from the Pulpit to the White House. Her expertise extends to international business advisement, and she is currently fundraising for a school named in her honor in Uganda.


In addition to her extensive corporate background, Dr. Coppertino served as the West Coast General Manager for Jackson Hewitt Financial Services, where she opened over 40 financial offices and trained more than 300 employees. A recognized leader in her field, she successfully introduced Jackson Hewitt to the California market, making it a formidable competitor to industry giants. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Coppertino is a mother of four, speaks seven languages, and is an accomplished Classical Sacred Music Soprano, sharing her talents through local churches weekly. Her continued dedication to public relations and her humanitarian efforts will undoubtedly enrich NAAMC's mission and vision.
